A lot of devices are getting "smart" these days -- not only smart phones, but smart thermostats, smart front door locks, smart doorbells and more. One of the problems with having all these "smart" devices at your home, is that they offer ways for hackers to break into your wifi system, and even gain access to your computer -- or potentially your house itself.

And what about "smart" cars....well I for one wouldn't want to get into my car to go to work and find out that either a hacker, or the government, has gotten into the "smartness" of my car and shut it down so I can't drive it.
My recommendation -- don't get "smart" devices for your home. Keep a "dumb" home. Just think -- dumb is the new smart.
