This is a free app (at least at the present time it's free) to use to send guests such info as directions, house manual, house rules, guidebook: www.coral.life/

Redundant! How bout we just get them to read the info we've already provided through Airbnb?

It's true, it's redundant -- but considering how many problems and glitches are on the Airbnb site, it may be that some hosts find it more reliable to use another offsite place to provide all the information!
Also, Airbnb keeps messing with their app and, as we have seen, removing useful things, and rearranging the app and information we hosts give to guests so that many guests actually can't find the info we've provided for them. A number of hosts have said guests can't find their address, or their house manual. By putting all the info in one place and making it a place that Airbnb cannot mess with, this may actually streamline communication. Because as we have seen Airbnb's "improvements" to the site often are not improvements.

Well, if they would read it, I'd be all for it. 9 out of 10 people say they didn't run across the wifi code, and ask me for it.

I am now retyping in a text message to guests, repeating information, so basic, as my address! People do not even print-out their Reservation. I send text messages to their phones with address, our cell phones again! At least they can read the message on their phone. I cannot still believe people coming and not having our address with them! WTH!

One of the hosts in SF created a company.. hostfully.com/I added a link to my hostfully guidebook to my welcome email (where I also attach a PDF document with my house manual). out of the last 50 or so guests, only 2 clicked on the link and neither found it more useful than the PDF. Especially given that airbnb spams people with their version of the guidebook (mostly made up of stollen host tidbits) I'm not sure where the use is for this thing. Guests don't want to download ANOTHER app, and if it's just a link to a web page then it's either insecure or useless without WiFi which you need to get the app to get the damn wifi info...

Good point Keith...people who we can hardly get to read the minimum of info...don't want to be bombarded with more info...and many guests only ever take one or two trips. For that they have to download a whole new app? I don't think they will be into it.
