Recently reviewed my listing on the app closely in order to respond to a guest's inquiry. Noticed that my SF Short Term Rental registration # is blocked (as a phone number). It is inserted exactly as instructed, in the "Other Things to Note Section", in the correct format, verified today via instructions re local jurisdictions (for SF) on Airbnb.com. The info shows up correctly on my PC. I've sent an email to CX but wanted to alert other SF hosts, and ask if anyone else has noticed this. So annoying given the hard work on this issue and that Airbnb, w/o notice to hosts or City and County of SF changed how and where we place the number. I'm one of those hosts that gets frustrated with all the "improvements" Airbnb rolls out, while not maintaining core features. Oh well. Again.

Aloha nancy,
I am constantly amazed of the changes on my listings when I search without being logged in.
The other day I found one of my rooms was removed from the instant booking feature.
I was just goofing around looking at the listings guests would receive, and Voila!! No yellow thunder bolt next to that room.
Perfect sense why I was receiving what should have been instant bookings, and ended up with the guests informing me they were not allowed to instant book. Was a mystery, as they all had been airbnb verified.
Once again I was clueless of the changes made on my listings without my knowledge.
I wonder if this is another tactic to put the new hosts first with the mandatory instant booking and deleting some of the more popular and high volume properties from this feature.
I'm done wondering and pondering, it just makes us experienced hosts think there's a free for all going on in their offices that are totally at the discretion of the person currently on staff with too much time on their hands.

That sounds very frustrating, both Nancesf and Rhonda. I feel very fortunate that I have not noticed any changes to my listings happen "by themselves", but then, maybe things are changing by themselves and I just haven't been keeping tabs on it.
I have gotten the sense that the Airbnb autocensor has been more intense lately. More things are being censored out...and other hosts are reporting this too...some hosts report that if they use the word "at" it gets censored out as "sensitive contents hidden." As in, "I'll be at work but you can call me when you arrive" changed to "I'll be (sensitive contents hidden) but you can call me..." I just got a message from a guest today and in his message he was asking about available dates, and half the dates were censored out, with "URL Hidden" replacing them. So it's nuts.
