BB Code is the code that gets used in your thread posts and replies. For instance if you click on "Font size" in the menu above, and select 4 pt font, you will see that the BB code for such size font automatically gets put into the text body of your post as code. You can make your selections from the menu above the post to simplify things, but you can also add your own BB Code into your posts.

In addition to the options offered in the menu, you could even put a linkable email address into a post by using BB Code -- for instance, phonyemail@gmail.com takes you to being able to send to that email -- but don't, as it is a fake email I just created for this example!
