A few questions

Hi fellow Airbnbers. I was curious to find out what others do in these situations?
1) Do you provide breakfast for people who rent out your whole house (i.e. when you're not there)? Or do you make breakfast for people who stay with you while you are in the house?
2) Is it legal to say "no" to families with small kids? I love kids, but honestly, my house is just not equipped for it (lots of antiques, glass, stairs, etc.). Just had a family with two kids under 4 and while overall the house was fine, she took everything down and moved things throughout the house to avoid the kids breaking things and I'm still searching for things!
3) Do you rent to people who have not yet been verified or reviewed?
I'm curious how others handle these things! Thanks and have a great week, beth

1) we don't provide breakfast for anyone but just make sure coffee/tea is available
2) we do allow kids but that's because we had one and there's not much to damage in the house now. You are free to say no to anyone
3) yes we allow people who haven't been reviewed before. We've had so many first time users!

1) Breakfast no, although if our schedules jibe I will share what I'm making.
2) Yes you can say no to kids, and legally. If you get inquiries, send the family to a link to a filtered search for "Kid Friendly" for the dates and send them on their way.
3) I rent to "no reviews" all the time. I don't rent to "not verified."

1. I do cook breakfast. I have my menu posted under "Description".
2. Don't know about legal or not, but I've only had one request with kids. I explained my steep steps, so the guests looked elsewhere.
3. I only host those with verified i.d.

Oh as far as no reviews goes, I just ask a lot of questions to those without reviews.
