Hello friends! So, it's been 3 years this month since I started on Airbnb. Entering year four. Normally on this occasion one might say "I can't believe it's been 3 years!!!" However, I'm SO NOT saying that!! It definitely feels like three years.
I'm going to post a blog shortly, just to talk about my experience and hopefully offer some insight and information for others. OR -- I'm going to post a blog just ranting about all my PROBLEMS with hosting.... LOL

Thanks -- I wanted to use a picture of me, but not the one I use on Airbnb. I had this one I took in a park, then used "Laminar" ( a free photo editing app you can get for the ihpone) to make it into a sepia toned portrait.
I thought Airbnb would send to all hosts on their 3 year anniversary --- a little happy note -- you may see it yet!

I hit my third year last September, and not a peep from Airbnb. But I wasn't surprised as my expectation on Airbnb now is actually quite low. Only a platform that is useful but will jump ship as soon as there is another one available. I wonder how many hosts are like me - used to be the biggest and most loyal fan until I finally realized that I didn't count to them at all.

Dang! Computer died; now I can't access the draft of my blog post! Guess I have to write it over -- I was writing about lessons learned at the 3 year mark, but apparently there's one thing I didn't learn: SAVE EVERYTHING!!

Oh NOOOOOO! That's so aggravating when that happens! Carolyn are you writing the blog on GlobalHosting blogs or on this website? If you write it on www.GlobalHostingBlogs.com, you can save as you go along. Actually it will auto-save your drafts, so they would still be there if your computer died. Just an advantage of putting blogs on that site.
ANd thanks for the reminder on blogs....I have a couple more I want to write too.....

Hey Deborah, yes, on globalhostingblogs!! I can't find or access my saved draft anywhere. I'd better try again; maybe it is still there.
