What to do if there is no photo or review of applying guest?
Help I am only new to hosting I have had two successful bookng s and s third enquiry but they are not showing a photo of them in person and no reviews on them
Any suggestions ? I am feeling a little nervous being new to hosting and having strangers stay

Decline if you ever feel creeped out or unsure. Before approving or preapproving, ask questions. Ask for a complete profile, including verified I'D. You can actually go into the listing requirements and require full verification. Some hosts don't require ID on the profile but a lot do because it helps to build trust and quicker to decide. Anyway, if they don't reply, then decline.

I have explained to a guest I require a review or reference, and ask if they can supply one since it is missing from their profile. Also since my experience this fall, I'm also now requiring guests submit to a $25 background check. I used EZlandlordforms before Abnb and still use it for my whole apt rentals; they have an annual or periodic membership available and provide the background check service. I'm also copying Driver License, passport, and student IDs and filing them with a printed copy of the Abnb reservation confirmation, and printouts of inbox messages.

There is no mention in your listing of a $25.00 background check. However the number of bathrooms is listed as ZERO. Doesn't seem that inviting.

I have just instituted the background check and keeping my own ID records because Abnb failed me.

my policy is No profile pic/No profile info = NO BOOKING with me!

If AirBNB stressed me out that much I wouldn't do it. I think you have to be pretty careful with copying/keeping copies of people's IDs, legalwise?
