Dear all, when I thought it could not get worst it did. My host started to be verbally aggressive one day before she leaves. I tried my best to engage into arguments then she showed me the curtain that she broke. She said it was too heavy that is the reason that it broke and she will not pay for it. It is not her fault etc. Sunday morning i can see her fear of me posting her a "bad" review after 6 weeks of Hell living in my flat: dirty, grumpy, rude, disrespectful, immature, verbally aggressive and I am spending my day washing about 6 bath towels that she used and kept in her room. I constantly had to go around the flat cleaning everywhere she has been leaving dirt in the sink, hair in the bathtub, dirt on the fridge...This morning she apologized and said she would not write a bad review etc and she thinks I am a great person! I dont like revenge and think it is not healthy. Also I dont like to damage anybodies reputation online. What is the right thing to do? Let it go and she let another person suffer with a psycho???

Erm I'd be honest in my review, red flag the person - this is definitely not a person I'd like to host.

You definitely have to protect other hosts from such as difficult guests. If she leaves bad review you have chance to write your comments, so everyone can decide who is right and wrong

Yes please be honest in your review - to protect other hosts and I think it's important that both guest and hosts are straightforward with their reviews otherwise the whole ethos of airbnb does not work.

Yes please red flag her, I would not like inadvertently having her in my flat.

Please please be honest. This service depends on us being full and frank - nothing dishonest but we owe it to each other to discourage people from using Airbnb if it is not for them.

Door open. The deposit of £100-£300 would not cover for potential damage of the (email hidden)riously danger.
