When giving advice to New Hosts, I like to back it up with links that take them directly to the article. Some of the time I direct them to FAQ but often I send them here to read Red Flags, Tips, Doormat, Security Deposit, Bad guests , House rules or Q&T screening guests etc.Can i continue to do this on the New Community Forum?

Yes, Elaine, you can do that -- I have posted several links to articles on this forum, on the new Airbnb groups. You can either just post the direct link, or you can post a phrase that takes you to the link. If you click on the link icon in the compose message box on the new forum, you will get a popup box. IN that box, the first line says, "URL" where you enter the link. Then the next two lines say, "Text to display" and "Title" and in those you can write the words that will appear for the link. For instance, see where I posted a link in this thread on the new forum, where a host posted about a phishing site link she was given: community.airbnb.com/t5/General-Hosting/Real-link/td-p/3419/page/2On the first post on page 2 of that thread, I posted a reply and at the bottom of it is a link that I entitled, "How Hackers Try to Scam Airbnb Hosts". If you click on it you will find that it takes you here: globalhosting.freeforums.net/thread/238/hackers-hit-airbnb-forums

Thank you Deborah, I just tried it out and it worked really well, except I could only edit the post and not delete it so an empty message appears from me. Never mind, I have just learnt another useful tool from you.
